WASHINGTON, D.C.  (October 12, 2017) – Capitol Seniors Housing, a leading senior living investment and development firm, will begin construction later this month on two new assisted living and memory care senior living communities, Atria Glenview in the Chicagoland area and Stonehill of Andover in the historic Town of Andover, Mass. Capitol Seniors Housing plans for both communities to open in the fourth quarter of 2018.

Atria Glenview, a $28.4 million, 70,800-square-foot community, will have 83 units including a 24-unit first floor memory care wing. The community will feature a bistro, activity room, theater room, salon, a courtyard and numerous other common areas. The community will be located at 4700 West Lake Avenue in Glenview, an affluent suburban village located on Chicago’s North Shore. Capitol Seniors Housing plans for the community to open in the fourth quarter of 2018. The company is also under construction on a 95-unit assisted living residence in nearby Naperville, Arbor Terrace Naperville, which is scheduled to open in the spring of 2018.

Stonehill of Andover, a $36.5 million, 81,500-square-foot community, will have 96 units and be operated by The Northbridge Companies. Amenities will include a bistro, activity room, fitness room, theater, salon and courtyard. The community will be located at 141 Elm Street in Andover, which is a northern suburb of Boston.

“At Capitol Seniors Housing, we are pleased to soon start construction on these two communities in Glenview and Andover,” Managing Partner Scott Stewart. “We’re also very excited to be under construction with five other new, high-quality, state of the art senior living communities across the country, and to have recently opened Arbor Terrace Morris Plains in New Jersey, Arbor Terrace Fairfax in Virginia, and the Summit of Uptown in Park Ridge, Illinois. More new community construction starts will be announced in the coming weeks.”

Joe McElwee, a Principal at Capitol Seniors Housing, added “In Glenview, we’re building in one of Chicago’s premier suburbs with families who love this town for its beautiful architecture, numerous amenities and services, first class health care system, a regional transportation network, excellent schools and beautiful parks and playgrounds. In Andover, we look forward to contributing quality senior living to this family-oriented town with a strong sense of community, wonderful amenities and a quick and easy commute to nearby Boston.”

In addition to Atria Glenview and Stonehill of Andover, Capitol Seniors Housing also has five other communities under construction. Arbor Terrace Naperville (Illinois), a 95-unit residence, is scheduled to be completed in January 2018. Arbor Terrace Mountainside (New Jersey), a 79-unit community, is expected to open in May 2018. Two additional communities that broke ground this summer, Chelsea Senior Living of Shrewsbury (New Jersey) with 85 units and Arbor Terrace Mt. Laurel (New Jersey) with 88 units, are both scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2018.
