Deploying a budget of $64.5 million, Capital Senior Housing will develop two new assets comprising more than 150,000 square feet and nearly 180 apartments in Glenview and Andover.
Located at 4700 West Lake Ave., in Glenview, Ill., Atria Glenview is a $28 million, 70,800-square-foot property that will have 83 units, including a 24-unit, memory-care wing on the first floor. Amenities will include a bistro, activity room, theater room, salon and a courtyard. “In Glenview, we’re building in one of Chicago’s premier suburbs with families who love this town for its beautiful architecture, numerous amenities and services, first-class health-care system, a regional transportation network, excellent schools and beautiful parks and playgrounds. In Andover, we look forward to contributing quality senior living to this family-oriented town with a strong sense of community, wonderful amenities and a quick and easy commute to nearby Boston,” said Joe McElwee,
principal at Capitol Seniors Housing, in prepared remarks.
Located at 141 Elm St. in Andover, Mass., Stonehill of Andover—a $36.5 million, 81,500-square-foot community—will feature 96 units. Amenities will include a bistro, activity room, fitness room, theater, salon and a courtyard.
“We’re also very excited to be under construction with five other new, high-quality, state of the art senior living communities across the country, and to have recently opened Arbor Terrace Morris Plains in New Jersey, Arbor Terrace Fairfax in Virginia and the Summit of Uptown in Park Ridge, Ill. More new community construction starts will be announced in the coming weeks,” Stewart added.
