Seniors4Seniors, a scholarship program for high school seniors
Capitol Seniors Housing is committed to giving back to the community and improving seniors’ quality of life by strengthening personal relationships. As a part of this ongoing effort, Capitol Seniors Housing managing partner Scott Stewart founded Seniors4Seniors, a national high school scholarship program, in 2013.
Seniors4Seniors awards scholarships to college-bound high school seniors who have demonstrated active, consistent, and dedicated involvement in their local senior housing communities. By connecting high school seniors with senior citizens, Seniors4Seniors enriches the development of students and engrains values of volunteerism, while providing senior citizens with a rewarding link to the community.
Seniors4Seniors hopes to inspire collaboration and the sharing of knowledge between both “senior classes,” which we believe strengthens the ties that bind all of us together.

Seniors4Seniors is a tax-exempt public charity that awards scholarships to college-bound high school seniors who have demonstrated active, consistent, and dedicated involvement in their local seniors’ housing communities. To date, Seniors4Seniors has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarship funds for students across the United States. This figure is only expected to rise, as the number of participating high schools for the 2014-15 school year has already tripled from last school year, the charity’s first year of operations.
