Capitol Seniors Housing recently kicked off construction on Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel, in Gambrills, Md.

The $27.2 million, 72,140-square-foot assisted living and memory care community will have 84 residential suites.

The colonial-inspired exterior, designed by Moseley Architects, will include a second-story terrace and courtyard. The interior, designed by Faulkner Design Group, will feature a transitional style as well as universal and accessible design to ensure functionality.

Amenities include a bistro area, dining room, library, multipurpose room, fitness/rehab room, salon and spa, theater, and other areas for socialization and activities.

Other project partners include The Arbor Co. and Forrester Construction.

Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2018.
